I’m sitting writing this at my dining room table looking out over the valley in front of me. I’m surrounded by the people I love and my heart is happy. The last few months have been a hell of a ride and I can honestly say I’ve been hanging on for dear live hoping not to fall off the roller-coaster called life. I’m so grateful to be able to sit here, in my happy place, to take a break from it all and spend time away from work to focus on something a little different – a sabbatical if you will from the ‘real’ world….
Coffee & Catch Up
I can’t believe its been two years since I started the coffee & catch up series! I’ve put together all the photos from 2015 as well as reflected on the photos and words from last years round up, and I’m beyond glad that I decided to take on this little challenge. Checking in with myself once a month forces me to stop and process what’s been happening in my little corner of the world and reflect. It’s also a chance to chat to you and share anything that’s been on my mind that I feel we need to talk about….
As has been the case for the past few years we headed down to our home in Cape Town (Fish Hoek to be exact) for a few weeks of much needed rest and relaxation. This year has been a little different as our usual guests are not around so it’s just hubby and I, plus the tree dogs, for three weeks of fun in the sun….
